Casa in Bocca al Lupo is an old farmhouse converted into a modern guesthouse. Three very spacious apartments in an authentic farmhouse exterior - equipped with every comfort inside - in a spectacular setting of vineyards, hazelnut trees, hills, and unique views of the Alps.
Peace, nature, and a beautiful saltwater swimming pool surround the house; cities, towns and sleepy villages, but also the beach of the Riviera of Flowers are within easy reach. Its location in the Langhe is also unique. This is an area of culinary delights, with Barolo wine as the highlight.
Apartment DUE
This large apartment, DUE (approx. 80m²), is located on the first floor of a fully renovated farmhouse with a spacious garden.
A private entrance leads to this unique apartment: a fantastic combination of authentic space with contemporary comfort. Vaulted ceilings, traditionally so typical of this region, are complemented by sleek cast flooring and solar water heaters for hot water! This apartment also features a covered terrace with a beautiful view and a large balcony.
Layout
The apartment is suitable for up to 6 people and has the following layout:
A kitchen with a dishwasher, cooktop, combination microwave, kettle, toaster, and refrigerator.
A new bathroom with a shower and toilet.
Two spacious bedrooms with new box-spring beds.
A living room with a luxurious sofa bed and television (with Dutch channels, among others).
Naturally, the apartment has its own covered outdoor terrace. Guests can enjoy the built-in barbecue, swimming pool with lounge chairs, and outdoor shower. There's also a shared parking space and several sun terraces.
Clavesana in “De Langhe” Piedmont
The luxurious holiday home Casa “in Bocca al Lupo” (good luck) is located on top of a hill among the vineyards near the small town of Clavesana in Piedmont.
The name Piedmont means “at the foot of the mountains”, because this region is located directly against the Alps.
Piedmont
Although Piedmont has many well-known areas, the Langhe is one of the better known. A hilly region bordering the wide valley of the Po with magnificent views of the Alps. The Langhe is best known for its culinary delights, with Barolo wine and white truffles as the highlights.
Space, nature and the real Italy
The Langhe offers space, is not yet overrun with tourism, has unspoilt nature, the region is pure, honest and very affordable. The inhabitants of the Langhe are friendly and helpful. The village of Clavesana has many borgatas, but also has a small supermarket, a bar and several restaurants in the centre. Cantina Clavesana is well known in the area for its fine wines. Its location on the Tanaro River with the imposing Calanchi (chalk cliffs) and high hills covered with vines and hazelnut trees makes it a wonderful place to stay. Life here is slow but almost excessively good and, in our opinion, approaches the typical Italian Dolce Vita.
Cities and towns in the area
The world-famous towns and villages of Barolo, Alba, Bra, Mondovi and Cuneo are easily accessible, but Turin, Genoa, the Alps and the Riviera of Flowers are also only about an hour's drive away.
