B&B Fount Estremiero

The domain of Fount Estremiero is situated in a dead-end street and borders the vast forests of the Montagne Noire. The house, dating back to 1873, has undergone thorough renovation in recent years while respecting its history.

The domain is named after the spring, Fount Estremiero, Occitan for hidden spring.

We offer 3 spacious rooms, each with a unique layout:

1. Room Marie

This room is located on the 1st floor and includes a spacious master bedroom (king-size bed, dressing room, and desk), a generous bathroom (freestanding bathtub, double sink, walk-in shower, and toilet), and a second separate bedroom.

2. Room Louise

The room is located on the 2nd floor and consists of a bedroom (double bed) with a reading corner and desk, a mezzanine (2 single beds), and a bathroom (double shower, sink, and toilet).

3. Room Etienne

Room Etienne is located on the 2nd floor and comprises a fully furnished apartment. The apartment enjoys the following layout: living room and dining area, bathroom (bathtub, toilet, sink, and walk-in shower), kitchen (induction hob, extractor hood, combination oven, dishwasher, and sink), small bedroom (with bunk bed), and a larger bedroom (with double bed). Additionally, the apartment has its own separate entrance and a large sunny terrace with a covered area (outdoor table and sun loungers are provided).

The listed prices always include breakfast. Upon request, the apartment (Etienne) can also be reserved without breakfast.

Outside, there is also a swimming pool of 12 x 5 meters, a jacuzzi, a Turkish steam bath, and a sauna, as well as an outdoor shower and a cold plunge pool. The use of the pool and wellness facilities is included in the price.

There are several hiking and cycling possibilities from the house, and on the estate itself, there is a ping-pong table, foosball table, petanque court, etc.

Both indoors and outdoors, everything is focused on peace and well-being, allowing you to recharge in this oasis of tranquility and silence.

In the nearby area, you will find the caves of 'Gouffre de Cabrespine', truly spectacular and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The ancient city of Carcassonne is also on the UNESCO World Heritage list and is a must-see, especially with children.

There are several hiking and biking opportunities, with various trails starting right from the house.

The region is known for its rich history of the Cathars. As a result, there are several castles, fortresses, and abbeys to visit that are worth exploring. In Villeneuve, you'll find a truffle museum, and in Mazamet, you can walk across a long suspension bridge to the medieval town of Hautpoul.

The Pays d'Oc is a well-known wine region, and you can easily take a car trip from vineyard to vineyard.

Within an hour's drive, you can reach the sea in Narbonne, and visiting the towns of Albi and Castres also makes for enjoyable outings.
