is a charming holiday home located in a protected nature reserve on a hillside with a beautiful view of the fishing port of Olhão.

Here you can enjoy peace and privacy, yet you are only 20 minutes away from the beautiful beaches of the Atlantic Ocean.

Andorinhas do Mar is a perfect family home where you will find all the amenities for a relaxing holiday.

There is a spacious living room with fireplace with direct access to the sun terrace with swimming pool. The kitchen is very practical and fully equipped with the necessary equipment (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, etc.).

There are 3 bedrooms (for max. 7 people) and 2 bathrooms.

There is air conditioning everywhere (cold and warm with air purification), TV Vlaanderen on the Smart TV via satellite and WiFi at 100Mbs/sec.

Enjoy a real holiday feeling in the heated swimming pool.

The garden…

is spacious (± 4000 m²) and beautifully landscaped with old alfarobbas (or carob trees which are typical of the Algarve), olive and fig trees and cork oaks.

The oleanders and bougainvillas are in bloom all summer long.

There is a covered patio at the front and back of the house with beautiful teak garden furniture where you can enjoy dining.

You will probably spend a lot of time in the garden with the inviting sunbeds by the pool with outdoor shower and hammocks.

Fancy a game of ping-pong? That is also possible!

Santa Barbara de Néxe…

is located in the center of Algarve, the southernmost and sunniest province of Portugal.

Far enough from mass tourism but very centrally located and almost everything can be reached within half an hour.

Faro airport is 15 km (20 min.)

Santa Barbara de Néxe is located in the middle of the triangle Loulé (10 km), São Bras de Alportel (8 km) and Faro (17 km), three centers with a huge choice of terraces, restaurants and shops…

Our house is located on a hill behind the village of Santa Barbara at an altitude of 260 meters with a beautiful view of the green landscape, the sea and the fishing port of Olhão in the distance.

Agostos is the name of the hamlet and is located next to Quinta de Raposeiras.

You reach the villa via a beautiful earthen dirt road that meanders in the middle of nowhere. There, at the very end of the road, you will find Andorinhas do Mar in peace and privacy. A rental car is recommended.
