Wellness Chalet Roos is located on the hills of Bomal-sur-Ourthe. Down in the village there is an artisan baker, artisan butcher (with caterer options), large Spar supermarket, restaurant options. Bomal-sur-Ourthe is known for its Sunday market (the largest in the Ardennes). The market winds around the river, actually the confluence of Ourthe and Aisne, and also has a Brocante room.

Kayak rental is available in the village.

Bomal-sur-Ourthe is a sub-municipality of the beautiful Durbuy, a typical medieval town with many restoration options. Barvaux is 4 km from Bomal, a small, very touristy town, where the large department stores are also located.

The region offers numerous tourist attractions: the Dolmen of Wéris (4 km), the castle of Logne (1 km), the caves of Han and Remouchamps, Durbuy adventure, a little further Coo with its waterfalls and the Plopsa Coo amusement park. There are many other attractions, including many hiking opportunities.
