Hazelnut region

In Monferrato and Langhe, almost exclusively the hazelnut 'Tonda Gentile della Langhe' (TGL) is grown, the fruits of which have a very exceptional quality. In 1993, the TGL was awarded the Protected Geographical Indication (IGP).
