That's the name of our tropical bungalow in local style. Pura Vida is more than just a name; it's a life motto. It means enjoy, relax, live life to the fullest; it's beautiful, celebrate it! That's exactly the feeling we want you to experience with a stay in our Pura Vida bungalow.

You can rent a house on Curaçao from us, with a rental car if desired. Pets are also welcome. We offer an affordable vacation home with a communal pool for families, couples, and families.

Our vacation home is located at Santa Catharina Resort:

A beautifully maintained, small-scale park with tropical plants and a lovely swimming pool overlooking the sea and the surroundings of Sint Joris Bay. The park is child-friendly, quiet, and safe, walled and secured with an access gate.

The house and resort are, as they say here, situated "on the wind," meaning a pleasant cooling breeze is often very welcome on the sometimes hot days.

The pool area is furnished with chairs and loungers, both in the sun and shaded by the palapas. Enjoy a refreshing dip after a day at the beach, swim laps in the morning, have fun in the water with the family, or simply relax with a book and sunbathe on a lounger. The resort pool awaits you.

Our rental car is available as an option and will be waiting for you at the property at a reasonable guest rate. This compact SUV includes insurance and roadside assistance. Airport transfers are included with your rental.

This tropical holiday home features two spacious bedrooms with air conditioning and two large bathrooms. It also boasts a cozy living room with a modern kitchen, fully equipped with amenities (including a Nespresso machine and air fryer). Outside, you can relax on the covered porch with its lounge set, hammock, and dining table. Or relax in the garden under the palm or mango trees—how does that sound?

A washing machine and fiber optic internet/Wi-Fi are available for your comfort. All windows are fitted with screens, and parking is available right outside. Towels, beach towels, and linens are also provided. Various extras, such as a cooler bag, beach bag, Chromecast, tourist information, and more, are available. Before and during your stay, we can provide you with information and tips to help you make the most of your Curaçao vacation.

The holiday home is peacefully situated in the heart of nature, yet centrally located. Enjoy the sound of birdsong, yet still be just 15 minutes from the popular beaches of Jan Thiel and Mambo Beach, and 20 minutes from the beautiful historic center of Willemstad. A large hypermarket for groceries is 10 minutes from the park. Sint Joris Bay is just 5 minutes away, offering a variety of water sports. It's a promising and emerging area in Curaçao.

Tips from the owner:

There's so much to see and do in Curaçao, for everyone. The beautiful white beaches are a favorite, of course. They range from luxurious full-service beaches with all sorts of amenities, including luxury beach clubs, to quiet, natural beaches for those seeking peace and quiet. And everything in between. Christoffel National Park is also a must-see for nature lovers. The salt pans near Jan Thiel are also perfect for a beautiful hike, or the rugged north coast with its bokas (rocking waves) create a true spectacle. The entire island is steeped in rich history. This is reflected, for example, in the historic center of Willemstad and the mansions that dot the island. Curaçao is all about color! This is reflected throughout the island in the houses and buildings, but also in the local (street) art. For the active vacationer, there are plenty of options: snorkeling, diving, and many other water sports. Mountain biking, quad or buggy tours, hiking, horseback riding, and much more. There's a wide variety of restaurants and cafes for every budget and mood; truk'i pans (food trucks) or "sneks" (snacks) along the road are typical of the island. But fine dining with your feet in the sand is also an option.

A visit to the Hato caves, the Blue Curaçao distillery, a museum... there's always something to choose from. Or perhaps something a bit different from your typical vacation activity: cuddle puppies at a rescue center or visit an ostrich farm. Doing absolutely nothing every now and then is also nice; relaxing by the pool. Unwinding from the daily hustle and bustle at home. Plenty of ingredients for a successful stay.
