This attractive and detached nature house in Holten is a wonderful place for two people who are looking for peace, privacy and nature. The holiday home is located completely privately on a wooded plot of approximately 1,350 m², surrounded by trees and rhododendrons and close to the Holterberg and De Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park. Here you wake up to the sound of birds and squirrels are also regularly seen in the vicinity of the house.  

The house combines the charm of a stay in the middle of greenery with a lot of comfort. Inside, the wood-burning stove and underfloor heating create a pleasant atmosphere, making this nature house a nice destination in autumn and winter. The good insulation also makes it suitable for a stay in any season.  

From the living room you step directly to the covered veranda. Even when the weather is bad, you can sit sheltered outside and enjoy the peace and greenery. There is an enclosed garden around the house with a terrace, garden furniture and barbecue. There is room to park 2 cars.

The house is equipped for a maximum of two guests and has one double bedroom, a comfortable bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy living room. WiFi is available and pets are also welcome.  

Thanks to its quiet location, the house is an attractive base for hikers, cyclists, nature lovers and couples who want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Walkers of the famous Pieterpad will also find an excellent resting point here.

Arrival possible on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The departure day can be freely chosen.
Bed linen and kitchen towels are provided. Guests must bring their own towels.

The nature house has a spacious and warm appearance and is comfortably furnished for two people.

The living room, together with the adjacent covered veranda, is a nice place to relax. A wood stove and underfloor heating provide extra atmosphere and comfort during colder days. There is a television and WiFi is available in the house.  

The kitchen is equipped for extensive cooking and includes an oven/microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer combination.  

There is one bedroom with a double bed and a spacious wardrobe and wardrobe. The bed is made with 2 single duvets and 4 pillows. 

The bathroom offers a remarkable amount of comfort for a holiday home for two people and has both a bath and a walk-in shower. There is of course a toilet and hot water. 

The house is also practically furnished for a longer stay. There is also a washing machine and dryer 

You reach the terrace and the large garden through the garden doors. The covered veranda ensures that you can enjoy the outdoors even in rain or cooler weather.

Holiday in Holten on the Sallandse Heuvelrug

The nature house is located in a beautiful wooded area near Holten in Overijssel, close to the Holterberg and De Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park. The varied landscape of forests and vast heathlands makes this region particularly attractive for hikers, cyclists, mountain bikers and nature lovers.  

Numerous walking and cycling routes can be discovered directly from the area. Birds, squirrels and other animals ensure that nature is always close by. Holidaymakers with a dog can also fully enjoy the wooded area.

A special asset for hikers is the Pieterpad, the well-known long-distance hiking trail from Pieterburen to the Sint-Pietersberg. Two stages of the Pieterpad can be walked from Holten, making the holiday home an attractive place to stay for hikers who want to combine one or more stages with a comfortable stay.  

Cyclists and mountain bikers will also find plenty of opportunities in the area. If you like to play golf, you can visit various golf courses in the region.  

You can go to Holten for restaurants, shops and other facilities. There is also plenty to do in the cultural field. Theater, cabaret and music performances are regularly organized in the Kultuurhus in Holten. For a more extensive cultural and culinary offering, the beautiful Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Deventer are about a 20-minute drive away.  

After an active day of walking or cycling, it is wonderful to return to the privacy of the house: turn on the wood-burning stove, relax on the covered veranda and enjoy the silence of the forest.
