B&B Casa dos Ninos, Bed & Breakfast in the Algarve
Luc and Stacey welcome you to Casa dos Ninos. When this Flemish/English couple opened their bed and breakfast in the Algarve, they were immediately impressed by the beautiful orange groves and the breathtaking view of the hills around nearby São Bartolomeu de Messines, a cozy village where time has stood still.
Casa dos Ninos has four modern and comfortable rooms for 1, 2 or 3 people. There are also two family rooms for 4 and 5 people. All rooms have a private bathroom.
You can fully enjoy your holiday under the Portuguese sun at the invigorating outdoor swimming pool or on the upper sun terrace. In addition to a furnished seating area, guests can make use of a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Do you want to fully immerse yourself in the holiday atmosphere? Then you can enjoy a barbecue in the warm Portuguese evening air.
With its quiet and central location, Bed and Breakfast Casa dos Ninos is ideal for a successful holiday in the Algarve. The fantastic beaches of nearby Albufeira are not the only asset of this southernmost region of Portugal, which has so much more to offer than sun, sea and sand. Albufeira
Just 15 km from us you will find Albufeira, one of the largest and nicest seaside resorts in Portugal. It is bustling with typical restaurants and entertainment venues. It is pleasant to stay on the long, golden sandy beaches and you can enjoy the southern ambiance in the atmospheric old city center.
Silves
The imposing red castle overlooks this beautiful medieval fortified town. Also characteristic are the narrow, steep streets and the walled city center with white-plastered houses.
Lagos
In the Middle Ages, Henry the Navigator turned this city into an important maritime center from which many voyages of discovery departed. The old city walls, the fortress, the beautiful church 'Igreja de Santo António' and the oldest slave market in Europe are definitely worth a visit.
Portimao
There are many shops and fish restaurants in the pleasant center of this lively port city. Be sure to visit Praia da Rocha, a very large and child-friendly beach with beautiful rock formations.
Vilamoura
This largest marina in Portugal is best known for its splendor: magnificent golf courses, a luxurious casino, fashionable shops and entertainment venues for the jet set. The promenade is especially alive in the evening with its many bars and restaurants.
Monchique
Perched village with a breathtaking panorama. Known for its spa and hot springs. The ascending streets with centuries-old houses lead you to the attractive village square with fountains and colorful flowerbeds.
Loulé
One of the oldest places in the Algarve. The Moorish influence can still be found here in the narrow streets and the characteristic white houses. The main attraction is the covered market hall with its many scents and colors.
Faro
The beautiful capital of the Algarve has an impressive historic center surrounded by medieval city walls. It is also located on a wide sandy beach and a beautiful nature reserve.
Tavira
This attractive town is spread over the banks of the Gilão River. From the castle you have a beautiful panorama over the narrow streets with white houses and the characteristic pointed roofs. Just outside Tavira boats leave for the very popular beach of the headland 'Ilha de Tavira'.
Sagres and Cabo Sao Vicente
In the Middle Ages it was thought that this cape in the far south-west of Europe was the end of the world. The high cliffs on the Atlantic Ocean form a mighty and impressive spectacle.
Lisbon
This metropolis with character and authenticity is just a 2.5-hour drive away. The capital of Portugal is located on the banks of the Tagus and extends over seven hills, where the neighborhoods all have their own atmosphere and fado music softly sounds from the narrow streets.
Seville
The capital of Andalusia is also a 2.5-hour drive away. How to describe Seville? Temperamental, vibrant with culture and history, full of Arabic influences, sights, old neighborhoods, cozy streets and tapas bars.
