Holiday Home KAMP 12 – family-friendly holiday home with sauna near Durbuy

Play chalet KAMP 12 is a spacious and particularly child-friendly holiday home in Biron, part of the municipality of Érezée in the Belgian Ardennes, suitable for a maximum of 12 people and 2 babies. The holiday home is specially designed for families and larger groups who want to spend a holiday together, where both children and adults have plenty of space for relaxation and fun.  

One of the great assets of KAMP 12 is the spacious, flat and fully enclosed garden. Children can play safely there and there is various play equipment and activities at their disposal. There are options for climbing, swinging and sliding, but also for pétanque, basketball, table tennis and darts. This means there is a lot to do around the holiday home without having to go out every day.  

Even when the weather is bad, the group can enjoy it together thanks to the covered outdoor shed. There are also various options for adults to relax. KAMP 12 has a Finnish sauna, a barbecue and a covered terrace.

The holiday home has 6 spacious bedrooms with box-spring beds and 2 bathrooms. A cot and high chair are available. The kitchen is extensively equipped and the fireplace in the living room provides extra coziness during cooler days. Wifi is available free of charge.  

Electric driving has also been taken into account: there is a charging station for electric cars near the house. One dog can go on holiday on request.  

KAMP 12 is also within walking distance of the smaller Play Chalet KAMP 8. This can be interesting for families or groups who want to travel to the Ardennes together with more people, but want to have two separate holiday homes.

Weekend and midweek prices

In addition to a weekly stay, it is also possible to rent KAMP 12 for a weekend or midweek.

Weekend

- January to juni: €950
- July and August: €1,250
- September to december: €950

Midweek

- January to juni: €1.150
- July and August: €1,450
- September to december: €1.150

Adjusted rates apply during school holidays, public holidays and holiday weekends. For the spring, Easter and autumn holidays, a weekend is €1,250 and a midweek is €1,550.

Different rates also apply for the Christmas week and the period around New Year's Eve. The weekly price for these periods is €2,150.

The interior of Play Chalet KAMP 12 is fully tailored to a comfortable stay with a larger family or group. The house has 6 spacious bedrooms with box-spring beds and offers sleeping accommodation for up to 12 people, plus room for 2 babies.

There are 2 bathrooms with a bath and/or shower. A cot and high chair are available for families with young children.

The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals for a larger group. Includes a combination oven, dishwasher and coffee maker. The living room has a fireplace, making the holiday home a cozy place to get together, even during autumn and winter stays.

After an active day in the Ardennes you can relax in the Finnish sauna. Free WiFi is available in the holiday home.

The concept of KAMP 12 is clearly aimed at celebrating holidays together: children are given plenty of opportunities to let off steam, while parents and grandparents can relax at the same time. The combination of six bedrooms, two bathrooms and spacious communal facilities makes the chalet particularly suitable for a family weekend, holiday with several families or a stay with three generations.  

Play chalet KAMP 12 is located in Biron, a quiet village in the municipality of Érezée, in the middle of the Belgian Ardennes and close to the tourist region around Durbuy. The location combines the peace and nature of the Ardennes with a wide range of activities and sights for both adults and children.

The region around Érezée is ideal for walking, cycling and mountain biking. Several routes depart from the region and the Érezée tourist office now lists 14 specific mountain bike routes in the Manhay-Érezée-Rendeux region. In Érezée alone there are three MTB routes from 20 to 52 kilometers.  

A nice family outing is the Tramway Touristique de l'Aisne in Érezée. This historic tourist tram runs through the Ardennes landscape, past forests and the river. Depending on the chosen ride, the route takes about one or two hours and a tram ride can even be combined with a walking or cycling tour.  

Durbuy is also easily accessible. Here you can walk through the historic streets, enjoy restaurants and terraces or visit the Parc des Topiaires. For families and active people, Adventure Valley Durbuy is also nearby, including climbing courses, kayaking, mountain biking and various indoor and outdoor activities.  

Other excursion options include Hotton, with its famous caves, and La Roche-en-Ardenne, where the feudal castle and the Ardennes landscape are major attractions. The area also offers opportunities for kayaking, climbing, mountain biking and other outdoor sports.  

KAMP 12 is therefore interesting in every season for families with children. When the weather is nice you can explore the Ardennes, walk, cycle or take a day trip. And if you prefer to stay at the holiday home, the large enclosed garden with play equipment, pétanque, basketball and table tennis offers plenty of entertainment. Afterwards, adults can relax in the sauna or enjoy a barbecue together.
