Villa Verde is located about 1 kilometer from the village of Loro Piceno. A charming village where you can find everything, such as supermarkets, bars, restaurants, an ATM, and a hardware store. Authentic buildings, squares, and streets exude the nostalgic atmosphere of times gone by.

In the summer months, the village comes alive with various festivities, such as the Vino Cotto festival. Vino cotto is a typical drink from the Marche region, made from concentrated grape juice. It’s delicious as a digestif with something sweet or after a meal, but it’s not a dessert wine. Loro Piceno is famous for this special wine, which you can taste and buy during the festivities. During the multi-day event, there are performances in the evenings at various locations, including music, art, crafts, and a wide range of snacks and drinks available at stalls and shops.

Nearby villages include Urbisaglia, Colmurano, Montappone, Petriolo, Mogliano, and Massa Fermana. Each of these has its own identity and charm. If you want to experience a taste of Italian life, visit the market in Loro Piceno on Monday mornings. Enjoy a cappuccino at Bar Renata on the square and soak in the local atmosphere.
