Our Casa l’Arcobaleno, consisting of three holiday homes, each sleeping four people, is situated in a beautiful garden, surrounded by our olive grove and overlooking the Tiber Valley.

There's something for everyone: sunbathing by the pool or on one of the terraces, hiking or cycling in the surrounding area, day trips to the numerous towns and cities in the (wider) surrounding area, enjoying the culinary riches Umbria has to offer…

The (shared) swimming pool (5 x 10 meters) is located in the beautifully landscaped garden overlooking the Tiber Valley below and is surrounded by our olive grove.

For days spent poolside, there are various (sun) terraces and a ping-pong table.

The three apartments at Casa l’Arcobaleno are all furnished and designed similarly, each accommodating a maximum of four people.

They consist of a bedroom, a kitchen/diner with a sofa bed, and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink.

The kitchen is fully equipped for four people and includes a four-burner gas stove, a refrigerator-freezer, and a microwave.

Casa l’Erba (green) and Casa Miele (yellow) are located in the main house, while Casa Celeste is in a detached cottage.

The apartments can be rented separately or together, for example, for a family or group of friends, allowing them to enjoy a holiday together while still ensuring the necessary privacy.

From olive groves and rustic villages to wine in Orvieto or St. Peter's Square in Rome: Montecchio offers a wide selection of day trips. Here are just a few examples (listing them all is impossible):

The village of Montecchio, with its many shops, restaurants, and bars: a 20-minute walk. Participate in village life or take a walk to the Valle di San Lorenzo, an Etruscan cemetery.

Nearest larger city: Orvieto, 20km away, with its impressive Duomo.

Base for many attractions:

Assisi: home of Saint Francis.

Perugia: the charming university town.

Spoleto: with its Rocca, bridge, Roman theatre, and the works of Filippo Lippi in the Cathedral.

Todi: with views over the rolling Umbrian landscape.

Città della Pieve: picturesque town, home of the painter Pietro Vannucci (il Perugino).

Montefaclo: known for its red wines, including Sagrantino di Montefalco.

Gubbio with its Cathedral, Teatro Romano, Abbazia di Vallingegno, etc.

The Cascata delle Marmore in Terni: an artificial waterfall, built in 271 BC by the Romans.

The impressive Lake Bolsena or Lake Trasimeno for a day at the beach.

Viterbo, where the popes resided for a while.

Cività di Bagnoregio: where you feel like you've stepped back in time 500 years, completely car-free.

Montefiascone, where Est! Est!! Est!!! wine comes from.

City center of Rome: 1.5 hours by car (just under an hour by train).

City center of Florence: 2 hours by car.
