There are no stairs, everything is on the ground floor. Direct daylight enters all rooms and practically every room has access to a terrace.

There are several large terraces, both north and south oriented.

Kitchen:

Completely renovated, cozy and comfortable: equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave (combi oven), large refrigerator, stove with oven, all kinds of small electrical appliances.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary eating and cooking utensils. The kitchen gives access to the north terrace and is connected to the dining room.

Living and dining room:

Very spacious living room (TV via Chromecast) and dining room. This has a dining table with six chairs and several cupboards. The living room has a flat screen and a modern stereo system + a very comfortable leather sofa. There is also a cassette fireplace here. Two large windows and a door provide access to the south terrace. From the salon you have a view of the ocean.

Bedroom 1, master bedroom: This is a very spacious bedroom with a double bed (box-spring) + cassette fireplace + wardrobe. This room has a spacious bathroom with toilet, sink and two walk-in showers. View of north terrace.

Bedroom 2: Spacious bedroom with a double bed (box-spring) + wardrobe, overlooking the south terrace and with private bathroom and TV.

Bedroom 3: Spacious bedroom with a double bed (box-spring) and a wardrobe with a view of the south terrace and passage to the north terrace. With private bathroom and TV. These last 2 bedrooms each have their own bathroom but only one communal toilet.

Villa Maya is a beautiful house for a holiday in the beautiful Algarve, with outdoor kitchen, BBQ, infinity pool, petanque court, and beautiful panoramic views of both the ocean and the beautiful hinterland. Each bedroom now also has its own bathroom and private TV.

Due to its central location, 'Villa Maya' is an excellent home base for your explorations through the versatile Algarve.

The approximately 200 kilometer long coastline is of breathtaking beauty with beautiful sandy beaches, spectacular rock formations and nice fishing ports.

Also visit Faro (the old part of the city) and Loulé, a ± 10-minute drive away.

Our favorite beaches with their cozy beach restaurants Praia do Ancão and Praia do Garrão are only an 18 km drive away, guaranteed without traffic jams, even in high season! The extensive nature reserve, the Ria Formosa, also begins here.

In the quiet, hilly hinterland of the Algarve you can enjoy the beautiful nature and picturesque villages such as Silves, Loulé and Caldas de Monchique.

To the east one can visit Tavira, Olhão, Estoí and Villa Real up to the border river Guadiana.

The Algarve is also a popular place for golf enthusiasts, who often plan their holidays there in the autumn or winter. The winter in Portugal can be compared to a mild spring in Belgium or the Netherlands and that is where you will meet the most golfers. Not difficult, because there is a very extensive range of beautiful golf courses.
