San Pedro del Pinatar is a municipality in the Spanish province and region of Murcia, covering an area of ​​22 km². To the north lie the cities of Elche (67 kilometers) and Alicante (78 kilometers), to the south lies Cartagena (38 kilometers), and to the west lies Murcia (50 kilometers). Torrevieja, La Zenia, Torre de Horarada, Pilar de la Horada, Santiago de la Ribera, and San Javier, among countless coastal towns, are all nearby and well worth a day trip. San Pedro del Pinatar has a population of 24,660. Mass tourism is non-existent here, making it a very pleasant and peaceful holiday destination. Many locals spend their holidays in this area, giving you a sense of authenticity and immersing yourself in the typical Spanish character. The unspoiled natural surroundings of the "Las Charcas" mud baths, a 5-minute drive away, invite you to rent a bike (for approximately 25 euros per day) for a kilometer-long cycle route along the Mar Menor headland, right through the sea.
