This spacious ground-floor guesthouse (90 m²) offers many possibilities for expats, walkers, and cyclists. It is located on the main road in the border village of Putte. So it is an excellent base for your expat stay with all conveniences provided, or for your (through) holiday on foot, by bike, or by car. Buses stop right near the guesthouse. Free Parking
Relax after your trip with a delicious cup of coffee or tea from our 'Me-time corner' (free). You have access to a kitchen with a fridge/freezer combination, microwave, and stove, as well as a spacious dining table. There is a private toilet and a separate spacious bathroom. There are two (movable) single beds and a comfortable sofa bed for two; room dividers ensure the necessary privacy. (Bed, bath, and kitchen linens are included). There is a private sitting area with a TV. Wifi is included. Dogs are allowed, with a maximum of two (please report and agree in advance, we charge a fee of € 20,- for this). Additionally, you can store your bicycle (free). It is a non-smoking property, but a dry, cozy outdoor smoking area is provided.
With a 5-minute walk you are in the beautiful surroundings of the Moretusbos (dogs are allowed). On the edge of the forest, you will find the castle of Count Moretus, where exhibitions are often held, and you can enjoy a hearty snack or drink in the coach house. In the border village of Putte, the shops are open every day. It is a 20-minute drive from the historic centers of Antwerp (B) and Bergen op Zoom (NL). Prefer public transport? The buses stop in front of the accommodation. Various beautiful cycling and walking routes are available in the area.
