The holiday park FranceComfort - L'Espinet is located in the southernmost part of France, near the Mediterranean Sea and almost on the border with Spain.
Espinet is located just outside Quillan, an authentic French village with cozy terraces and shops, in the foothills of the majestic mountains of the Pyrenees. A day trip to Andorra is possible, there is snow on the mountains until the summer.
Just over an hour away is the coast of the Mediterranean Sea with beautiful sandy beaches, the city of Perpignan and seaside resorts such as Canet, Saint Cyprien, Argelès-sur-Mer, Collioure and Banyuls-sur-Mer. North of Espinet, between Toulouse and Narbonne, lies the town of Carcassonne with the world-famous castle "La Cité".
A large part of the landscape around Espinet is covered with vineyards and tourist villages with lively markets and terraces.
